Chief
Terry Blanc was a man who never gave up on his
dreams. In 1967 he began as a volunteer fire
fighter working his way up the ranks until he
became an employed fireman and eventually
Chief of Suisun Fire District in 1999. His
devoted wife, Debbie, always had his fire
boots, hat, and turnouts at the front ready for
Terry to respond to any accident, fire, or
emergency call. His two daughters, Amber and
Lacy, followed in his footsteps also fighting
fires alongside their dedicated dad. If anyone
was in trouble, you could be sure that the
Blancs were at the rescue. Chief Terry died on
September 1, 2008 and will be remembered
throughout California for his dedication to
helping others.
