eet the Founding Director, Cynthia Brian

Cynthia Brian, woman, wife, mother, actor, model, teacher, interior designer, gardener, artist, casting director, writer, published author, producer, world traveler, furniture designer, television and radio host... this lady is the Renaissance woman of the new millennium!

Born on a farm in the Napa Valley in Northern California, the eldest of five children, she raised chickens and sheep, drove tractors and picked fruit to earn enough money to pay her way through college. After being named the Outstanding Teenager of California, she was named teenage ambassador to Holland and was off to study in the Netherlands for 18 months. While there, she served as foreign correspondent for several local newspapers and traveled throughout Europe. Thus began the world travels that would teach her to speak seven languages. Cynthia attended UCLA, the Universite de Bordeaux in France, and UC Berkeley, graduating with a B.A. in History.

Cynthia’s passion for traveling and people is matched by her passion for acting which she has been doing professionally for over two decades, working in films, commercials, and print ads with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. She has hosted several television shows and has been active in all phases of the acting world. Her company, Starstyle™ Productions offers private consultations on the business and her book The Business of Show Business has served as an extremely popular and useful guide. As an acting coach, she has guided the careers of several hosts for other talk shows as well as talent on established series.

Cynthia, a certified interior designer, is president of her own interior design firm, Starstyle™ Interiors and Designs. Her designs have been featured in several books, magazines, newspapers and television shows. She produced A Gardeners Calendar and also designs furniture, including her popular Starstyle™ Gametable and Ottomans.

She currently produces, writes and hosts two television series, Starstyle™Live Your Dreams, an inspirational program about people who are doing what they love in life; and Starstyle™The Business of Showbusiness, an educational program about how to get going and stay going while avoiding the scams in the entertainment industry.  Together with her daughter, Heather Brittany, Cynthia co-hosts Animal Cuts, segments for TV and radio about the animal kingdom.  Miracle Moments™ are short motivational minutes that she writes and produces for both TV and radio and are an essential ingredient to her whimsical messages.

Cynthia can be heard weekly on the personal growth radio program, Starstyle™ Be the Star You Are!™, where she interviews best-selling authors in personal achievement, business and success.

As an honorary board member of Moms in Print, Cynthia supports mothers that write. (http://www.momsinprint.com/board.html)  She is the author of the book, Be the Star You Are, Starstyle™ Stories and Success Strategies for Living, Loving, Laughing, and Learning to Make a Difference (Ten Speed Press), co-author of Chicken Soup for the Gardener's Soul (HCI), author of the quote book Miracle Moments For a Magical Millennium (ARC) and working on her next book, Daddy's Hands, Mommy's Heart, Children's Memories.

The goal of Cynthia Brian is to serve others and enhance quality of living by recognizing that our differences are our greatest strengths. We must start from the inside and work out knowing that nothing is impossible and that "sooner or later, the person who wins is the one who thinks s/he can!" Her theory is that we must be individuals, we must be willing to risk, and we must think big. "Dream the dream, write the plan, go into action to get the skills necessary to create your destiny and most of all, believe in yourself and all the possibilities," is Cynthia’s recipe for success and happiness. It is important to appreciate the little things in life so that we may create global harmony and beauty one step at a time. "See the invisible and create the impossible" is her creed. With this in mind, she has founded a non-profit organization devoted to the distribution of positive programming called Be The Star You Are!

For a farm girl from Napa Valley, her hard work, energy, action, and jamais di jamais (never say never) positive attitude have certainly added the sparkle to a starstyle life, a testimony to the belief that you too can Be The Star You Are!
