Being Conscientious, Addicted to Love, Teen NY Times Winner
Can you train yourself to be more organized and conscientious? Research indicates that being responsible and keeping your life neat and clean has big benefits including reducing stress, cortisol levels, and inflammation. Let’s tidy up!
Are you indulging in self-destructive, obsessive love addictions or behaviors? Are you consistently drawn to toxic partners who are emotionally (or even physically) abusive and manipulative? Are you so desperate to keep a relationship alive that you’ll do almost anything to support your partner, becoming unintentionally co-dependent? Sherry Gaba, author of Love Smacked, addresses relationship addiction and codependency.
The New York Times announced that host of Express Yourself!, Ruhani Chhabra, was one of eight teens out of 11,000 worldwide submissions to win for her essay, T.S.A. and Cinnamon Buns, in the their 3rd Annual Personal Narrative Essay Contest. This Be the Star You Are!® volunteer will join Cynthia Brian to read to winning essay and talk about writing. Ruhani announced a FREE writing course for middle-schoolers.
