Wisdom Study for Breast Cancer, Parent Anxiety, Nurturing Friendships

Tune in LIVE weekly to the upbeat, positive lifestyle broadcast where producer and host Cynthia Brian showcases strategies for success on StarStyle®-Be the Star You Are!®. Available wherever you listen to your favorite programs!

The Wisdom Study was founded in 2016 by Dr. Laura Esserman, a breast cancer surgeon and oncology specialist at the University of San Francisco. It is now launching Wisdom 2.0 in an effort to screen smarter, not screen more. Many women are at low risk and may not need screening until their 50s. But for the small percentage of women at very high risk for cancer, early screening and strategies to reduce risk can be critical.

Teens are feeling sad and depressed but so are their parents. Anxious adults who are parents of adolescents are trying to maintain their equilibrium, yet studies indicate that the mental health of the parent greatly affects the kids. What can be done to heal the pain?

Do you work on building strong relationships with friends? When we nurture our friendships, we feel included and loved. Healthy friendships protect against depression and increase life satisfaction. Want to strengthen yours?
